Thirty years old and living life with chronic illness. I began this blog originally to share my love of books, but now I want to use this platform to reach others. I want to be an encouragement, a helping hand, and a spoonie sister to those who need it. I’ll still share my love of books, posting about books that had an amazing impact on my life or books by my favorite authors.
I am living in the city – in between the ocean and the mountains here in Northern California. I’m a nanny for three girls, a college student and a big sister, aunt, niece and daughter. My family and friends mean the world to me and I will always do what I can to be there for them. I’m happily in love with my girlfriend, Molli (pictured right in the photo). We are long distance for now, but have plans made for The Big Move where she will join me in California. I am so excited to spend the rest of my life with her and become her wife. ♥
You’ll find me talking about my life as I live with chronic illnesses – I struggle with: endometriosis, anxiety, fibromyalgia, migraines, depression, bipolar disorder, and type two diabetes. I am on a variety of medications and fight daily to live my life the way I want to live. I have my bad days, but I always fight and stay strong.
I am not my illness. My illness is a part of me.
